Happy hour is something I’ve never been aware of in Japan, but the Peafowl are adept at finding them. In this case we were walking randomly through Aoyama and same the sign for Citrus.
There’s nothing particular in the way of food at happy-hour time (including a distinct lack of mixed nuts; we had to shell the almonds ourselves), but the bar was almost empty, the drinks were well-mixed, and cocktails were $5 each (or beer, or wine). And there was no charge. Sorta the perfect bar, in a land where they’re few and far between.
Good for a game of cards and a bit of a wait for the sun to go down.
